Every May during National Public Works Week, we celebrate the unsung heroes who keep our communities running!  This year’s theme, “People, Purpose, Presence,” honors the dedication, values, and daily impact of our staff who work tirelessly to provide an essential service to 2.6 million people across central and northwest Orange County.

Our OC San staff work behind-the-scenes 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to ensure the safe collection, treatment, and collection of 190 million gallons of wastewater daily. When everything runs smoothly and goes unnoticed, that’s when we’re doing our best job!

Now is a perfect time to show our appreciation. These professionals are society’s secret superheroes—steadfast, selfless, and essential!
